Maybe flying has been sitting quietly in the background for years.
“I’ll look into it one day.”
“Maybe when life slows down.”
“I’m not sure I could actually do it.”
Most people don’t need more research.
They need a starting point.
The Pilot Pathway Experience™ was created for exactly that.
You don’t commit to a licence.
You don’t commit to years of training.
You commit to one flight designed to replace uncertainty with clarity.
Afterwards, you’ll know what flying actually feels like, how training really works and whether this is something you want to pursue. And that clarity is powerful.

There’s a moment people carry with them long after their first flight.
The door closes.
The headset goes on.
The engine hums to life.
You taxi out with clear guidance, knowing exactly what’s happening and why.
When the wheels leave the ground, you’re not watching from the side.
You’re flying.
You feel the aircraft respond beneath your hands.
You realise it’s steady. Manageable. Learnable.
And in that moment, the shift isn’t just adrenaline.
It’s the quiet realisation:
“I can actually do this.”

Flying can seem exclusive from the outside. Complicated. Serious. Reserved for “other types of people.” It isn’t.
Flying with Grace was built to feel welcoming, inclusive, and properly supported especially for people who may not have seen themselves represented in aviation before.
Grace Walker is the only female Recreational Chief Flying Instructor in the region.
Before aviation, she spent 12 years as a paramedic working in high-pressure environments where calm leadership and safety-first thinking mattered most.
That same mindset shapes every flight:
Clear briefings before take-off
Structured, step-by-step guidance
Defined operating limits
Calm instruction from engine start to landing
Confidence doesn’t come from being pushed.
It comes from feeling safe.

JUST IMAGINE...

You walk across the tarmac at Narromine. The aircraft is waiting. You sit in the left seat. Headset on.
Grace briefs you clearly and calmly.
You taxi out together on the runway.
The runway lines up ahead. Grace says,
“You’ve got the controls.”
You advance the throttle.
The runway moves faster.
The nose lifts.
And the ground begins to fall away beneath you.
For a moment, everything feels focused and steady.
You’re not watching someone else fly.
You are flying.
And you realise:
This isn’t reserved for someone else.
It’s something you can do.
And you have just experienced the achievement of flying an aircraft and joining a select few in the world who ever get to experience that...

JUST IMAGINE...

Taxiing onto the runway, hands on the controls, as your instructor calmly guides you through every step…

Lifting off the ground and watching the world fall away beneath you as the aircraft climbs into open air…

Looking out across uninterrupted views while learning how to control heading, altitude, and speed in real time…

Feeling your confidence build with each flight as procedures that once felt foreign start to feel natural…

Reaching the moment where you realise you’re no longer “learning about flying” — you’re actually doing it…

And finally, experiencing the achievement of flying an aircraft solo — something most people only ever dream about…
Train with experienced instructor pilots, follow a proven step-by-step program, and take a real aircraft solo in as little as 30–60 days. Apply today to check availability for the next intake - no payment required to apply.

“From day one, their instruction made all the difference. The CFIs are experienced, patient, and tailor each lesson to your learning style and schedule.”
Jessica - Private Licence

"With 20 hours of flight time logged - the training, support, and welcome instructors have exceeded my expectations and left me proud to train with them"
Jeremy - Student Pilot

“At 69, earning my private pilot’s licence has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.”
Michael - Private Pilot at Age 69

“I couldn’t recommend a better team, a better fleet, and a better learning process to any aspiring pilot”
Bryan Humphrey - Student Pilot

Most people who think about learning to fly don’t ignore it. They postpone it.
Here’s the truth most people don’t realise:
Flying isn’t reserved for a special type of person.
It’s a skill. Just like learning to drive. With the right instructor beside you and a clear introduction to how it all works, it’s far more achievable than most people imagine. If learning to fly has been sitting in the back of your mind for a while, this is your chance to finally experience it. Not commit to years of training. Not sign up for something overwhelming. Just take the first real step and see what flying actually feels like.

Flying with Grace operates from Narromine Aerodrome — once home to a WWII Elementary Flight Training School.
For decades, pilots have taken their first steps here.
Today, it’s training a new generation.
People from regional communities.
Young people exploring possibilities.
Women stepping into spaces that once felt out of reach.
Everyday people discovering what they’re capable of.
There’s something powerful about taking off from a runway with history and realising you belong there too.
Accommodation is available close to the airfield, so you don’t need to worry about commuting — you can stay within walking distance and step straight into your flight training experience.

For many people, flying stays in the “one day” category.
Not because they can’t do it.
But because they never take the first step.
They assume it’s too complicated.
Too serious.
Too big of a commitment.
It isn’t.
The Pilot Pathway Experience with Flying With Grace was created so you can try flying the right way — with structure, safety, and real guidance — without committing to long-term training.
You don’t need to decide your future.
You just need to decide to show up.

There’s no requirement to commit to long-term training or make big decisions upfront.
The Pilot Pathway Experience is designed to give you a genuine first taste of aviation in a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
This experience is simply about helping you answer one important question: Is flying something you’d truly enjoy pursuing?
If you love it, Grace can explain what continuing your training might look like. If you just wanted to experience flying once, that’s perfectly okay too. Either way, you’ll walk away with something most people never experience: The feeling of flying an aircraft yourself.

Nope! The Pilot Pathway Experience is designed specifically for beginners. Most of our students have never even sat in a cockpit before.
NO - a medical check isn't required for a trial flight, but it is required to get a licence. If you have any questions about medicals before starting flight training, please ask Grace. If you want to do a trial flight purely for the experience, then you can do that without the requirement for a medical.
NO - There is no legal age limit for learning to fly: as long as you can reach the pedals and the instructor is happy that it's safe, the instructor will always be the PIC (pilot in command) of the discovery flight and all of your flight training until you go solo. You can only go solo at the age of 15 and get your first licence, which is an RPC, at the age of 16
That’s completely normal. The instructor will adjust the pace and only proceed when you’re comfortable.
If conditions aren’t suitable, your flight will be rescheduled at no extra cost.
Yes, you can get a full refund if you cancel your Trial flight prior to 48 hours before the booking.
A trial flight generally lasts one hour, but you'll also get to walk through a pre-flight prior to that and have a debrief with Grace after your trial flight experience. All in all, I'd allow two hours for the whole experience
No. There is absolutely no obligation to continue. Many people simply do it for the experience.
Yes, if you wish to continue flight training, then the one-hour trial flight can be logged as the first hour towards your flight training.
No, you cannot bring a family member or friend along with you on the trial flight, as it's classed as an instructional flight, but you can bring friends and family to watch you from the airport.
Secure your Pilot Pathway Experience with Flying With Grace today. With limited one-on-one flight slots available each week and flexible scheduling, this is your opportunity to take the first real step and see if flying is truly right for you.
